Terms & conditions

The terms that apply when you buy from AUTOFIX, including prices, orders, delivery, your rights and how disputes are handled.

1. About us

This website, autofixservices.shop, is operated by AUTOFIX SERVICES LTD., a company registered in Scotland, trading as AUTOFIX (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our company number and registered office are listed on our Legal information page.

You can contact us at support@autofixservices.shop or +44 7156921506 (Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 UK time).

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order you place on this website. Please read them, together with our Shipping & delivery policy, Returns & refunds policy and Privacy policy, before ordering. You will be asked to confirm that you agree to them at checkout.

Our website is intended for consumers aged 18 or over buying for personal use. If you are buying for a business, please contact us first.

3. Our products

  • Product photographs are illustrations of the item. Colours can look different on your screen, and packaging may vary.
  • Dimensions are approximate (usually within 1–2 cm). Materials, sizes and care instructions are listed on each product page.
  • Our floor mats, boot liners, seat covers and steering wheel covers are universal sizes. They are not made for any specific vehicle make or model. Please measure your vehicle and compare it with the sizes listed before you order; our Size & fit guide explains how.
  • We do not sell vehicle parts, safety components, cleaning chemicals, oils, batteries or aerosols.

4. Using our products safely

  • Floor mats must lie flat and must never interfere with the accelerator, brake or clutch pedals. Do not place a mat on top of another mat.
  • Do not fit seat covers over seats with side airbags unless your vehicle handbook says it is safe to do so.
  • Do not mount phones or holders where they block your view, airbags or controls, and follow local laws on using and mounting devices while driving.
  • Headrest hooks and holders are for light items only.

5. Prices and currency

  • Prices are shown in the currency of the delivery country you select (US dollars, pounds sterling, euros, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars). Countries without a local currency option are priced in US dollars.
  • You are charged in the currency shown at checkout. If your card is in a different currency, your card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
  • Shipping costs are shown in your cart and at checkout before you pay. Any taxes we are required to collect are shown before you pay. Import duties, VAT or fees charged by customs in your country may apply on delivery, as explained in our Shipping policy.
  • If we discover an obvious pricing error after you order, we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Placing an order and when a contract is formed

  1. When you place an order, you receive an email acknowledging it. This acknowledgement does not mean we have accepted your order.
  2. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
  3. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline or cannot fulfil an order, we refund you in full.

7. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through the payment options shown there, which are provided by third-party payment processors. Card details are entered on the processor’s secure systems; we do not see or store your full card number. Your order is processed once payment is authorised.

8. Delivery

Delivery times, costs and destinations are set out in our Shipping & delivery policy. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment. If we cannot deliver within 30 days of the estimate, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

9. Cancellations and returns

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery, and we also accept unused items back within 30 days of delivery. Full details, including the model cancellation form, are in our Returns & refunds policy.

10. Your statutory rights

We must provide goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or, if you live outside the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. For advice about your rights, see section 14.

11. Our responsibility to you

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights.
  • We supply products for domestic and private use only. We are not responsible for business losses, such as loss of profit or business interruption.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by using a product in a way contrary to its instructions or to section 4 of these terms.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, severe weather or customs delays. If this happens we will tell you, and if the delay is significant you may cancel and receive a refund for anything not delivered.

13. Promotions

If we offer a discount code or promotion, the conditions (such as dates, minimum spend and eligible items) will be shown with it. A code cannot be exchanged for cash.

14. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first at support@autofixservices.shop. We aim to reply within one business day and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

Consumer help. If you live in Scotland, free advice is available from consumeradvice.scot, funded by the Scottish Government. This service is available to Scottish residents only. If you live outside Scotland, you can contact the consumer advice body in your own country. Wherever you live, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you. Trading standards matters in Scotland are handled by Trading Standards Scotland and local trading standards services.

Courts. If you are resident in Scotland and your claim is for £5,000 or less, you may be able to use Simple Procedure in the Sheriff Court, which is designed to be used without a solicitor. We are not obliged to use, and do not currently use, an alternative dispute resolution scheme.

15. Time limits

Under the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973, a claim arising from these terms must generally be brought within five years. In England and Wales the equivalent period is six years. This is the period in which you can bring a claim. It is not a warranty period, and it is not a limit on how long we are responsible for the goods under your statutory rights.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the law of Scotland. The Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause affects your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you are resident, or to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.

17. Language

These terms are written in English. Where we provide a translation, it is for convenience only, and the English version applies if there is any difference.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this website when you placed it.
